Welcome to the Lancaster Cohousing website!


We plan to build a Cohousing project with private homes, community facilities, workshop/office space and shared outdoor space close to central Lancaster.

We have currently got 24 households fully signed up, and we are working towards a partnership with our preferred architects, Ecoarc.

We have a shortlist of 4 city centre sites and are actively negotiating on two of these. The full members have signed pre-sale agreements for (up to) 4 sites. We anticipate most or all waiting pool members will have the option to become full members and buy a home but cannot confirm this until we have decided on a site and site plan.

We will be considering new applications for waiting pool membership at our next General meeting on Saturday 9th August 2008. If you would like to apply for waiting pool / full membership in this round please send us your form by then.
