Halton Mills

The 2.5 ha site is in a beautiful rural setting alongside the River Lune on the edge of the village of Halton.

The south facing slope overlooking the River Lune is ideal for building zero-carbon homes and there is a lot of green space for everyone to enjoy.

The existing mill building provides an opportunity for managed work and office space which will be attractive to environmental businesses.

Halton Village

Halton Village has a school, shops, pub etc. It is 3 miles from Lancaster City Centre which can be easily accessed by a riverside cycle path or regular buses.

Halton can be reached easily by bus or bike from Lancaster. To find the site please see this map for directions (but don't be confused as some more buildings have been built since then!). The marker is by the mill building. You reach it via Mill Lane heading east from the small bridge over the Lune and can recognise it by a large 'North West Engineering' sign.
